Photographing The Kimono and Editing
The final and the biggest part of my project this term was to create the kimono. I love how it turned out and with the help of my model I created beautiful photos that I can use on my website and include in my portfolio. I decided to use a wall with graffiti on it as a more modern detail, as I wanted to connect past and present in this project. Here are all the photos I have from this photoshoot, all of them were shot with a Nikon D5600 camera on settings: s 1/640, f/13, ISO 1000:
From them I chose some that I liked the best and thought I could use:
I later picked again from them and edited them in Clip Paint Studio, like all of the other photos. I once again made them darker, and more contrasting, as well as changing the saturation. I also fixed the wall as it had some holes in it. Here are the final results of this process. I will decide If I want to use all of the photos or just a few when I will be uploading them to my website.
I think that the kimono I made looks really good and professional. I am proud of my work, as it was the biggest sewing project I made so far. It was challenging and required a lot of time, but I did it and it is one of my best work. I can happily add it to my portfolio.
