Photographing Body Art And Editing - Part 2

After making art I had to photograph it. As the back piece required my model to be topless we could not go outside and take photos. We decided on staying at our balcony, we took many different shots, using the fluffy blanket as a background, but in the end, the best option was to cover the model with it. All of the photos were taken with Nikon D5600. Here are all the photos from both back and arm photoshoot:

As my model has a mature body, I had to try making her back look the best it could, so she would also be happy with the result. We tried different poses, the best one was when she kept her arms above her head like in this photo:

This photo was good, but I still wanted something different, so we used the blanket and covered my model. This resulted in this photograph that I ended up picking as the best one:

s 1/125, f 5.6, ISO 400

Then I moved on to photographing the arm painting and chose a location that I mentioned before, it is a tree near my house in Warsaw, Poland:

Here is the final photo I picked:

s 1/250, f 8, ISO 200

EDITING

After the photoshoot I started editing the photos, to make them look a little better. I removed some blemishes on the back as my model does not like them. I also made everything more contrasting but at the same time, darker. I also turned the saturation a little up for the photos to look more vibrant. Here are the final photos I will use on my website:

I love all of the work I did for the part of the project and I believe they are good pieces. In the future, I can work more on the details and on the background of my paintings and when it comes to photographing I can also try more locations. Overall I am proud of what I made.
