Olga Dann

A second person I researched based on the answers in my questionnaire, suggesting that makeup is a great way to express yourself and the fact that I planned on creating body art/makeup looks for my project is Olga Dann. This 26 years old, Russian, 'self-portrait' artist, as she calls herself is another inspiration for me. She creates fantasy-like looks using colourful eyeliners and gems and shares them on her Instagram account @Olgadann. Not only her makeup looks are what amaze me about her. The second thing is the way she photographs the work which is even more interesting. The close-ups of the face. focus on certain parts of the makeup, glossy skin and perfect quality makes it enjoyable to watch her photos. As we can see in the pictures below, her art is always precise and as detailed as possible. That is what I would like to achieve in my pieces, so studying her work is a great inspiration and a way to improve my skills by looking up to the different artist.
