Green Screen
As my Yukata will be used as a green screen I decided to learn more about how it works and where, especially in the film industry was it used, as I think it will look the best on videos. I would also like to find out how in the editing process the patterns are overlayed as In my final presentation I would like to include it. As for the software I would try to use Shotcut
1. Green Screen - What is it?
''Green screen is a visual effects (VFX) technique where two images or video streams are layered—i.e. composited—together.'' - Courtenay (2020)
The green screen makes it possible to add an image on top of the green colour in the editing stage of making a film or for example, a weather broadcast. The editing works by selecting the colour we want to change in the shot, it can be any shade, however, green and blue are the ones used the most, as it is not any natural skin or hair colour. If done correctly it will seemingly blend with the rest of the scenery and can be used to add other special effects, like smoke, fire or magic power as shown below.

2. Green Screen - other examples
Other, well-known example of the use of the green screen is an 'Invisibility Cloak' in the Harry Potter franchise. The piece of clothing as shown below was two-sided, one of them was covered in pattern, but the inside of the cloak was green. As the actors were using this 'magical' piece, they were turning it inside out to make themselves disappear in the post-production.

3. How to Use Green Screen?
Before editing the shot, we need to prepare everything. According to Infocus Film School (2020), the main things we need to remember are:
- Checking if there is no unnecessary green in the shot. If the actor is holding something with green in it? Is there a piece of decoration that should be included in the shot but is green? We cannot use any of those while shooting with the green screen as anything that colour will be replaced with an overlayed picture.
- Making sure everything is evenly lit and there are no reflective surfaces. The actor and the background need to be lit separately so there are no shadows of the person.
- It might be needed to make some changes in the makeup as the green screen can make people look less vibrant.
- If the shot of the actor will be a full one, the green screen needs to go behind, above and under the actor for the best results.
- Use a Chroma Key software that will allow you to add effects to the shot.
possible.

Detailed post, with some good insight to the process of using green screen - which software program are you going to use for this? You don't mention it here.
