Body Art - Digital Drawings
I made some pencil drawings before as an inspiration for my body art. I decided to re-draw them in digital software to make it look cleaner. I like the colours, but the details might change on the body, however, the main idea will be kept that way. As you can see I was inspired by Japanese art and legends, which I explained in the latest post. I also, after some thinking, came to the conclusion, that they will be mostly something like tattoos, however, I will try to add some elements that will make them look more art-like, rather than just using the body as a canvas, although it is still a good way of practising my skills. Here are the drawings:
To draw this facepiece I used a template I made the last term. I decided to include sakura as It will look great on a 3D face. Also, the eye makeup will be a graphic eyeliner inspired by current trends, that I talked about in the previous term (Doniella Davy - HERE) and the face will be white like in geisha's makeup:
It will be an arm or a thigh body art as it is quite big. The background will be a gradient, but the drawing itself will be black and white only with the accent colours that can be seen above. The Japanese signs I included are (left, middle, right):
狐 - fox
夢 - dream
鹿 -deer
This is the drawing I have shown before, the Koi Fish. I added the colour I will be using, but I also will add a background, either a splash of white paint or some other abstract patterns.
This one is really just an inspiration, as I do not like the way I drew the cherry blossom. However, I will paint something similar and I was also thinking about it as a thigh painting.
