Digital Fashion Illustration Research

I wanted to research further artists creating digital fashion illustrations as that is a huge part of my Set Project. The two artists that got my attention the most are Megan Hess and Srishti Guptaroy. I will evaluate their works further in this post.

Megan Hess

She worked with brands such as Prada, Saint Laurent and Givenchy. She improved her skills by drawing her friends and characters from Disney films, but the most she gained from Art lessons, that where she discovers the techniques she liked the best. She is inspired mostly by travel. Megan uses different mediums, sometimes it is pencil and markers and sometimes her art is digital. Her style is classy, elegant and she also focuses on the background and surrounding if the drawing needs it. These are my favourite illustrations from her Instagram account @meganhess_official:

I like her style and I can use her illustrations as my inspiration, as this will be the first time for me creating digital fashion drawings.

Srishti Guptaroy

She lives in Bangalore, India. Her illustrations are more of an art than fashion drawings themselves but I love how they look and I wanted to include her work in this post to show different options I can use in the future. Srishti worked for brands such as Addidas or Vogue. She creates unique, colourful illustrations with a lot of details. These drawings are more cartoon-like, but still portraits her talent and can show the clothing very well. Here is some of them, also from Instagram, @srillustrator:
