Set Project: Initial Research Part 1 - Symbols
SYMBOLS
Runes
Letters in a runic alphabet, used in germanic languages before Latin. Scandinavian nations called it also futhark, from the first 6 symbols. The oldest runes were found in the year 150 on a Comb in Denmark. Except for their purpose as letters, every symbol also has a meaning connected to it. Some people give them the power to attract love, money or health.
Zodiac Signs
There are 12 star signs (astrological), they depend on the star position in the day of birth. Some people believe they can influence the character traits of people. You can learn about yourself by reading horoscopes or learning about your exact zodiac sign. They are separated into four groups of elements (air, water, fire and earth). Years also have their sign as well as every 2 millenniums the dominant sign changes and brings a different energy to the world and people.
Deer
Not only it is a graceful and beautiful animal, but also in many legends and myths, it is a connector between the spiritual and supernatural world and living people. In Gaelic, they are also called fairy cattle and supposedly the fairies were milking the animal in mountains. It is also associated with goddesses, for example, Artemis, which was seen naked by a hunter so as his punishment he was changed into a stag and killed by his own hounds. Deers are a symbol of gentleness and softness as well as feminity.
