Major Project - Artists Research

For my Major Project, I decided to make a series of stylizations inspired by different artists and their style. In this post, I want to show the idols I chose and their characteristics, that will help me in developing my project.

Guns N Roses

Hard rock band created in the 80s in the United States. At this moment it consists of 7 members:

Axl Rose
Duff McKagan
Slash
Dizzy Reed
Richard Fortus
Frank Ferrer
Melissa Reese

The group itself has a style that suits their music, but two of the members are the most recognizable, Axl and Slash. But after researching, I decided to make the first look based on the main vocalist - Axl Rose.

Queen

British rock band created in 1970 by Brian May, Roger Taylor and Freddie Mercury, later the fourth member joined - John Deacon.

Also this time I chose the most characteristic member of the group - Freddie Mercury (1946-1991). Through his style, he showed that fashion is unisex and everyone can express themselves by clothes and makeup. To this day he remains one of the music legends.

Main Elements of the outfits:

Spice Girls:

British Pop band established in 1994. Members:

Melanie Brown
Victoria Beckham
Melanie Chisholm
Geri Halliwell
Emma Bunton

Spice Girls' style was different depending on a member as they all were assigned special themes. I decided to research the entire group to make an outfit inspired by them in general.
