Critically Evaluating My Website
Planning Stage:
What were your initial ideas for creating a website? style/name/template
I wanted it to be modern, clean and easy to use. To have a white background with dark letters, so that photos are the main focus and you can find all my work. I did not have a name for my website, it could be something like Paulola Styling, but for now, I just left my name.

What is the purpose of your website?
I created my website to showcase my fashion styling and photography work to my potential clients and give them a chance to contact me.
Who are your potential website users?
University lecturers, potential employers and people wanting to look good for every occasion
Why do you think it is important to have a digital portfolio website?
Design:
Which design elements/tools did you use? (e.g.: infographics, fixed header, static background image, navigation menu design, text boxes, image galleries, social media feed) and why?
Image galleries, social media links, to show my work and invite potential clients to see more on my other platforms
Which template did you use in Wix and why?
Fashion Photography, because it was modern and clean, but also I liked the layout of the photos
How many pages does your website have and why?
4, home, about, portfolio and contact, as they are the most important at this point of my fashion career. I can show my work and get in touch with potential clients.
Navigation:
Does your website have working social media icon links?
Yes
Are your pages connected / interlinked?
Yes
Is it easy to navigate?
Yes, everything is intuitive and clear
Does the “Contact” page / email link work?
no, but I am still working on it
Testing (this will be completed in week nine):
UX (user experience) testing – get your blog buddy to view your website on their mobile or another digital platform
Ask your blog buddy for feedback on your blog
If your website is not working on mobile the platform, you will need to go back to the Wix Editor and check that you have enabled the mobile view.
Good that you have considered your site - keep doing this as you add to this and make sure you really are happy that it is a showcase for your work - looking forward to seeing the completed version
