What do I know?
In today's session, I need to get all the things I already know about my progression route. Using only my knowledge, without searching the internet.
A Fashion Communication and Styling graduate should:
- Know the latest trends and top designers
- Know the color theory for better combinations of clothes and makeup
- Create styling ideas that are accurate for our client, checking the idea of the photoshoot/runway/etc.
- Be communicating with other people like a makeup artist, hairdresser, and photographer
- Know, that sometimes they need to work with limited sources and time
- Know what are the best clothes for different body shapes/makeup and hairstyles for different face shapes
- Know the industry they work in: film, runway, theatre, etc.
- Learn photography to showcase their work, and to know how the stylization will look on camera
- Develop their drawing skills for the sketches of the outfits
- Know how to plan and show their ideas, how to research for them
