Creating Website - Research 'Kitty Cowell' an 'AlexSelina Style'

 To make my website look more professional, I was looking at sites of fashion stylist to get some inspiration. I found a few, that I liked the most. 

Kitty Cowell is a Fashion stylist, blogger and model. She is creating beautiful content and her website looks similar to what I would love to achieve. It is mostly white and grey, but her photos add a pop of colour to it which makes it more interesting to watch. 

At the top of the Home page, we can see a gallery of her work and working process. It looks professional and shows that she knows what she is doing. I would like to add it to my page.

Underneath it, we can see links to different parts of the website and her other media (Instagram). It is a nice feature for people like her, who also have a blog so people can see her work while reading her posts. Maybe in the future, I will do something like that, but for now, the menu on the top is enough for me.

I like that about page, but I would put my photo right next to the text so people can see who I am right away.

Kitty Cowell's styling page is amazing. She not only shows her photos but also music videos and sections for different parts of her work. I like how much we can see and that after clicking on the photo we are shown a whole catalogue of outfits from this shoots.

The second website I researched was Alexselinastyle.com. Her website is similar to Kitty's and I think it is a common theme to make your website with a white background and minimalistic designs.

 Underneath the photo, there is a description of the website and information to fill out the contact form. I would like to also include this in my website. 

Another element I really liked was a lookbook. It is a smart idea to show your skills and I think I will include this in the future when I will have a bigger portfolio and experience.

In section services, Selina has a range of her possibilities when it comes to styling. I like how there are different options so that everyone can choose something for themselves. 

Overall I like this website, and it is a good inspiration for further improvement on mine. There are more parts to it, such as testimonials and contact. It is a great idea to include the opinions of the clients so that new customers can see if we are the right choice.

Both of these pages were similar and easy to use. I will try to adapt some of the ideas on my website, and later on add to it, to make it more professional.
